Depuis 1889, la Tour EIFFEL, démonstration d’audace et de génie, se dresse dans le ciel de Paris. Dans ce monument le plus visité au monde, sur une plate forme, existe la plus petite Poste de France (34rn2) et la plus fréquentée. Des millions de touristes y passent chaque année car c’est le seul endroit où l‘on puisse envoyer une carte ou une lettre avec le tampon de la Tour EIFFEL. Ce symbole fort est synonyme de lieu unique. L’architecture intérieure de BERTHET-POCHY a été l’objet d’une multitude de contraintes techniques presque insurmontables.
II a fallu respecter avant tout la structure même de la tour, ses contraintes, sa couleur, la charge au sol minimale extrêmement surveillée par les responsables du monument. La hauteur sous plafond de 210cm concourrait également à rendre la tâche très difficile.

This powerful symbol is synonymous with a unique place. The interior architecture of BERTHET-POCHY was beyond the object of a multitude of technical constraints that were nearly insurmountable.
Most of all, the structure constrains and the colour of the EIFFEL Tower itself, as well as the minimum ground weight, strictly monitored by people in charge of the management of the building, had to be observed. The 210cm ceiling height was also a factor that made the work very difficult.
