Le marché mondial du mobilier de bureau est dominé par 3 grands industriels que sont STEELCASE, HAWORTH et HERMANN MILLER. Chacun de ces grands groupes doit, pour la survie et le développement de son entreprise, entreprendre de véritable recherches à 5 ou 10 ans Jean Louis Berthet et Denis Vasset sont les seuls designer a avoir conçu du mobilier pour ces trois firmes: STEELCASE en dessinant des meubles, HAWORTH en ayant créé un mobilier de type Nomade, HERMANN MILLER en étant le premier européen à être invité dans leur Design Yard. C'est un ensemble complètement autonome et secret, à côté de chicago, où 120 personnes travaillent jour et nuit uniquement à la recherche des méthodes de travail, à imaginer l'avenir et le mobilier correspondant.
Pour HERMANN MILLER : Mobilier special pour 1200 bureaux de parlementaires au parlement Européen de Bruxelles.
Pour HAWORTH : Une gamme "Nomade" ayant obtenue 5 design Awards aux Etats Unis et Best product of the Year.
Pour STEELCASE : Une gamme de mobilier ayant pour but de faire disparaître tous les fils ( éclairage, ordinateur, imprimmante, vidéo etc..) de l'univers du bureau.
The world's office furniture market is dominated by 3 entreprises of STEELCASE, HAWORTH et HERMANN MILLER. In order to ensure the survival and developpement of companies, the large entreprises should embark on substantiveresearch every 5 or 10 years. We had the good fortune of collaborating with these 3 companies. With STEELCASE we designed furniture, while with HAWORTH we created mobile-type furniture like that of Nomads, and with HERMANN MILLER we werethe 1st European invited to the Design Yard, widh is completely autonomous secret complex located next to Chicago and 120 personnel research methods of work execution and imagine the future world and furnitures suitable for it dav and night.
